Beginning Orchestra 10/16
Work on the D Scale
Remember
1-Say the name of the note before you play it.
2-Keep your finger stuck to the fingerboard on the tape.
3-Walk your fingers up slowly giving yourself time to keep your position perfect.
D Scale Challenge-If you can play the D scale by yourself next week I will bring you a prize.
Play the D Scale 3-5 times everyday. If you do this you will be so good at the scale you are sure to be ready for the prize.
Thanks and Remember
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
Hi Shara,
ReplyDeleteNot sure where to put this, but we are having an issue with Porter C.'s bow. Over half of the hairs have popped out of the tip of his bow! I cannot take it in to get fixed until Thursday, so I just thought that I would let you know that he will be at orchestra tomorrow without a bow. I think it is important for him to try to keep up and follow along, and we will get the bow fixed ASAP. Thanks! Sarah
